Cookies

Last updated August 25, 2026

These terms are written against how this service actually works, and they have not yet been reviewed by a lawyer in every market we operate in. If a clause here matters to a decision you are making, ask us and we will confirm it in writing.

We use a small number of cookies, all of them strictly necessary to operate the service. We do not run advertising or analytics cookies, which is why you are not being asked to accept anything.

What we set

  • Session cookie — keeps a host signed in. Set only after signing in; cleared on sign out.
  • Guest cookie — a random identifier that lets a guest delete their own uploads and attaches their chosen name to their photos. Set on an event page; expires after a year.
  • Sidebar state — remembers whether the host's navigation is open. A preference, nothing more.

Why there is no banner

EU law requires consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary for a service the user asked for. Every cookie above is necessary for exactly that, so there is nothing to consent to and no banner to dismiss.

If we ever add analytics or advertising, this page will change first and you will be asked before anything is set.

Turning them off

Your browser can block or delete any cookie. Blocking the session cookie means you cannot stay signed in; blocking the guest cookie means you can still upload, but you will not be able to delete your own uploads afterwards.
